About us

Est in 2019, GinJarAle was born. A completely family-owned bar situated in the heart of Penwortham.

Owning a bar was the dream of Tommy McKiernan, the GinJar familys dad and grandad. Unfortunately, due to his passing in 2011, he didn't get to fulfil that dream - but we used his inheritance to fulfil it for him.

We know he's there watching over us... literally, as many of you have seen and commented on his handsome photo taking pride of place in the bar.
